Details of the Job/Internship

CredAble is hiring for the position of Litigation Manager to join them in their Mumbai office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle all legal proceedings, including drafting, filing, and managing cases related to loan defaults, fraud, and disputes.
• Represent the company in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel for effective litigation strategies.
• Ensure timely response to legal notices and summons.
• Develop and implement effective recovery strategies to reduce delinquency and bad debts.
• Collaborate with collection teams to ensure timely recovery of outstanding loans.
• Initiate legal recovery actions under relevant laws,
• Manage settlement negotiations with defaulters while protecting the company's interests.
• Liaise with internal teams, including credit, collections, and compliance, for effective case management.
• Work with external agencies and authorities, including police, courts, and other legal bodies, as needed.
