Details of the Job/Internship

Hiranandani Financial Services is hiring for the position of Litigation Manager to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Implement recovery objectives and manage legal processes in line with the company’s strategy.
• Support collections teams to enhance regional recovery efforts.
• Maintain up-to-date legal MIS and trackers for active cases.
• Draft legal notices, replies, and other legal communications.
• Handle litigation procedures including SARFAESI, Sec-138, Arbitration, and civil/criminal cases.
• Conduct customer visits for stressed or chronic borrowers and execute Sec14 proceedings as required.
• Appear before courts and tribunals to defend company cases.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and courts to ensure timely payment of dues.
• Utilize legal mechanisms such as Section 138 notices, Lok Adalat, conciliation, and other recovery tools.
• Maintain the region’s lawsuit database and implement new legal tools and procedures.
• Initiate projects to reduce regional legal costs.
• Ensure all case files are well-documented and follow established procedures.
• Maintain positive relationships with solicitors and legal professionals.
• Address NPAs by developing tailored solutions to maximize returns on investment.

Eligibility

• Relevant experience in legal recovery, banking, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures under SARFAESI, Sec-138, Arbitration, and civil/criminal laws.
• Excellent drafting, communication, and analytical skills.

Salary/Stipend
