Details of the Job/Internship

NxtWave is hiring a Litigation Manager with 5+ years of litigation experience to join their legal team in Hyderabad. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Litigation Management & Dispute Resolution:
• Manage ongoing and potential litigation matters across civil, criminal, labor, consumer, and regulatory domains.
• Develop strategies to prevent litigation, including pre-litigation measures and negotiation.
• Liaise with police authorities for complaints and FIRs.
• Draft, review, and finalize written statements, affidavits, rejoinders, legal notices, show cause notices, police complaints, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategy, pleadings, and advisory.
• Coordinate with external counsel, track case progress, and ensure timely filings and appearances.
• Represent the Company and its Directors before courts, tribunals, and authorities.
• Maintain case files, litigation trackers, and prepare case briefs.
• Provide legal opinions to senior management and business teams.
• Support settlement negotiations, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution.
• Regulatory & Compliance Support:
• Assist in responding to notices, summons, and inquiries from statutory and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure company-wide compliance with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Risk Assessment & Mitigation:
• Identify potential litigation risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support in developing litigation strategies to safeguard organizational interests.
• Contract Management & Legal Documentation:
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to mitigate contractual risks and optimize terms.
• Compliance:
• Stay updated on legal developments and provide guidance.
• Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries and audits.
• Ensure company-wide compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• General Support:
• Provide general legal support to the legal and compliance team.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative efforts.

Eligibility

• 5+ years of litigation experience in law firms or corporations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM).

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
