Details of the Job/Internship
Quess Corp Limited is hiring for the litigation manager to join them in their Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Identify legal issues involved, provide a legal strategy and guidance to solve that problem. Provide strategic legal insights to support decision-making and business growth
- Assist in resolving contractual disputes , employment law disputes, NCLT, and advising on risk exposure.
- drafting work which may include drafting petitions, applications, appeals, execution petitions, sending legal notices and responding to legal notices on behalf of company, deeds and settlement agreements etc.
- Filing the petitions, documents and serving copies to other parties
- Appearing in the case and argues before before a court of law, arbitrators and quasi judicial authorities
- Expertise in handling conciliations and labour court matters/ employment law matters in India and APAC
- Conduct and support internal investigation and finalizing the report
- Conduct training & interactive session on statutory and labour compliances mandate and learnings from the recent litigations
- Employment law guidance for the full employment lifecycle: Hiring, Employment, and termination of Employment. Experience in advising on employment law matters/staffing industry is an advantage.
- Guidance on internal investigations in HR-related matters for India and other APAC countries as assigned.
- Training clients/stakeholders and business groups as needed on employment law topics of importance. Statutory and other employment compliance guidance.
- Be proficient in partnering with clients to provide practical solutions while mitigating risk.
- Be an initiative-taker who can work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
- Be efficient, effective, well organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects/cases.
- Be creative, practical, collaborative, and solution oriented.
- Key competencies include a mindset of continuous improvement, multitasking abilities, and ability to smoothly navigate a matrixed organization collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, business, and sales teams, to ensure alignment on terms and company policies.
