Details of the Job/Internship
Barnes Law Associates is hiring a Paralegal with at least one year of experience to join their Central London office. The role includes attending client meetings, onboarding clients, handling legal research, preparing case materials and participating in training and networking events. The firm operates a hybrid working model with standard hours from 9:00am to 5:30pm, offering 28 days of paid holiday plus a birthday leave and performance-based bonuses.
Role and Responsibilities
- Attending client meetings.
- Onboarding clients and taking instructions.
- Conducting legal research.
- Preparing bundles and case materials.
- Drafting correspondence and witness statements.
- Participating in regular training.
- Attending networking events.
Eligibility
- Minimum one year of experience in a boutique or reputable small firm with a similar client base.
- Law degree (English law) and LPC, or plans to take the SQE soon.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to work overtime and invest in professional development.
- Solid understanding of English law concepts.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and effective time management skills.
- Excellent communication, strong drafting skills and ability to work under pressure.
