The firm focuses on recovering losses arising from misstatements, misrepresentations or fraud by public companies and engages in securities litigation, arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution methods worldwide.

Details of the Job/Internship

DRRT is hiring a Litigation Assistant (Paralegal) to support the U.S.-based legal team in legal operations, document verification, legal entity research and high-accuracy data quality assurance. The role involves tracking client trade records, verifying investment fund–legal entity relationships and supporting legal research and documentation tasks.

Role and Responsibilities

• Track and maintain client trade and settlement records in the internal database with high accuracy.
• Conduct fund-to-entity mapping research and verify investment fund–legal entity relationships.
• Monitor and document fund name changes, management or AMC transfers and entity restructuring.
• Perform QA/QC and troubleshoot financial-legal datasets using Excel or Python-based logic.
• Validate data using official sources, internal legal documents and repositories.
• Identify and report discrepancies in trade logs, fund records or legal entity data.
• Coordinate document organization, indexing, archiving and audit-readiness tasks.
• Support special legal research and verification projects.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure consistent and updated data delivery.

Eligibility

• 2–6 years of legal support or litigation operations support experience.
• Exposure or familiarity with securities, investment funds, trade logs, global settlements or entity verification work is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Commerce, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience supporting international or U.S.-based legal teams in documentation or data QA roles is a plus.
