Details of the Job/Internship
Suvanjali Legal Advisory is hiring a Litigation Lawyer with 5–7 years of experience to join their Mumbai office. The role involves handling civil and commercial litigation matters before courts, tribunals and authorities in Mumbai, along with drafting, research and case strategy responsibilities.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle civil and commercial litigation matters before courts, tribunals and authorities in Mumbai.
- Draft and review legal documents including plaints, petitions, notices, agreements, written statements and replies.
- Conduct legal research and prepare briefs, opinions and case strategies.
- Attend court hearings, client meetings and mediations independently.
- Coordinate with external counsel, clients and internal teams for case updates.
- Ensure timely filings, documentation and compliance procedures.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized university.
- 5–7 years of relevant litigation experience in Mumbai courts.
- Strong drafting, research and argumentation skills.
- Knowledge of civil, commercial, arbitration and corporate legal matters.
- Ability to independently handle court matters.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Professional integrity and attention to detail.
