Details of the Job/Internship
Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. is hiring for the position of Litigation- Property Tax Matters with 5-7 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence on legal documents and coordinate with Business Teams to gather necessary information.
- Draft legal notices under various Acts.
- Prepare pleadings for filing in different courts.
- Brief and assist Advocates, Solicitors, and Counsel.
- Attend hearings before quasi-judicial officers, Trial Courts, and High Courts, including arguing cases.
- Report hearing outcomes and updates to the Business Team.
- Maintain and update dashboards summarizing pending litigations, their status, and next steps.
Eligibility
- Minimum 5-7 years of litigation experience as a practicing Advocate (Essential).
- Preferably experience in property tax and real estate-related litigation.
- Graduate in any discipline with LLB (Essential).
- Membership with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa (Prefe.rred).
- Based in Mumbai (Preferred).
Salary/Stipend
