Details of the Job/Internship
Anand and Anand is hiring a Litigation Associate with experience of minimum 5 years to join their team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle litigation matters across High Courts, District Courts, and tribunals.
- Draft pleadings, written statements, legal notices, replies, and opinions.
- Represent clients in disputes relating to pharmaceutical regulations, drug approvals, pricing, and compliance.
- Assist in intellectual property matters including patents, trademarks, and data exclusivity.
- Work on regulatory litigation involving authorities such as CDSCO and NPPA.
- Conduct legal research on pharma laws, drug regulations, and compliance frameworks.
- Support arbitration and commercial dispute resolution matters.
- Liaise with clients, experts, and regulatory authorities.
Eligibility
- LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant litigation experience.
- Prior experience in the pharmaceutical / life sciences sector is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of drug regulatory frameworks, compliance, and IP laws.
- Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple matters independently.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred: Experience with pharma companies or regulatory bodies, exposure to patent litigation or regulatory advisory, and familiarity with the Drug and Cosmetics Act and NPPA regulations.
