Details of the Job/Internship
Biocon Biologics is hiring a Litigation Specialist with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in the pharmaceutical industry to join its Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle civil, criminal, and arbitration litigations across India and emerging markets (APAC, LATAM, AFMET).
- Draft pleadings, interpret documentation, coordinate with counsels, and maintain litigation trackers.
- Negotiate, vet, draft, and finalize commercial contracts including distribution, supply, licensing, consultancy, confidentiality, and service agreements.
- Conduct legal research and provide opinions on business-related matters.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders for timely agreement closures.
- Advise and strategize with business teams on legal and regulatory issues.
- Drive legal projects within the organization.
Eligibility
- LL.B./B.A. LL.B./B.S.L. LL.B. and/or LL.M. from a reputed law college.
- Minimum 5 years’ PQE, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong litigation experience with knowledge of emerging markets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and articulation skills.
- Ability to work independently and engage with senior management.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and business acumen.
