Details of the Job/Internship
CarDekho Group is hiring for the position of Litigation Specialist with 5-7 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Litigation Management: Oversee and manage legal proceedings, including civil and criminal litigation, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives.
- Court Appearances: Represent the company in various courts and tribunals as required.
- Drafting & Documentation: Prepare legal documents, pleadings, contracts, notices, and responses to legal claims.
- Police Complaints & Regulatory Affairs: Handle police complaints, liaise with law enforcement authorities, and manage regulatory compliance issues.
- Advisory & Risk Management: Provide legal advice on business operations to mitigate legal risks.
- IPR Awareness: Assist in basic intellectual property-related matters, including trademark protection and enforcement.
- IPO Support: Assist in legal due diligence, compliance, and documentation related to IPO processes, if required.
- Liaison & Coordination: Work closely with external counsels, law firms, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective legal representation.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a reputed Indian institution.
- 5-7 years of experience in litigation within a law firm or a large corporate legal department.
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures, court processes, and regulatory frameworks in India.
- Experience in managing police complaints, criminal and civil litigation.
- Basic knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
- Experience with IPO processes is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple legal matters efficiently.
