DRRT is hiring a Litigation Specialist to join their office in Mumbai. The role involves supporting the U.S.-based legal team by accurately tracking and maintaining trade records for clients within the firm’s internal database. It includes conducting research and verification of fund documents to confirm relationships between funds and associated legal entities, while ensuring data accuracy and supporting ongoing legal processes.

Role and Responsibilities

• Track and maintain detailed records of client trades in the firm’s internal database with accuracy and timeliness.
• Research and verify fund documents to establish and confirm relationships between funds and their legal entities.
• Monitor and document any changes in fund names or transfers between management companies.
• Utilize official online sources and internal document repositories to gather and validate data.
• Collaborate with the legal team to support case preparation and ensure up-to-date information is available.
• Identify and report any inconsistencies or discrepancies found during research.
• Assist with organizing and archiving legal and financial documents.
• Support special projects or additional research tasks as assigned.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
• 2–4 years of legal support experience required.
• Coursework or familiarity with securities, investment funds, or legal documentation is preferred.
• Prior exposure to U.S. legal or financial systems is a plus.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with legal terminology and investment fund structures preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, troubleshoot data, and maintain accuracy.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.

Salary/Stipend
