Details of the Job/Internship

HCLTech is hiring for the position of Litigation Specialist with 1-3 years of experience to join their office in Noida. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in managing regulatory and statutory compliance across international jurisdictions, particularly in the IT and outsourcing sectors.
• Support all legal functions, including litigation management, legal advisory, and corporate consultancy across various domains such as labor/employment law, customer/vendor contracts, and general corporate matters.
• Handle customer dispute resolution, including drafting legal responses and liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Support compliance initiatives related to taxation, labor laws, environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and legal recovery.
• Draft and respond to legal notices from statutory bodies, clients, vendors, and employees.
• Collaborate on special projects for the parent company beyond the assigned geography or country.
• Coordinate with external and internal legal counsel, consultants, and other stakeholders for ongoing legal matters.
• Assist in legal invoicing, documentation, and updating internal MIS systems.
• Conduct legal research and advise on regulatory updates and changes in legislation relevant to business operations.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
• 1-3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in IT, outsourcing, or related industries.
• Exposure to contract law, dispute management, regulatory compliance, legal advisory, and corporate legal matters.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with fluency in English.
• Proficient in MS Office tools—Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and good data handling skills.
• Self-motivated, capable of working independently, and comfortable coordinating with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure compliance.
• Demonstrated interest in legal research and staying updated on legislative changes impacting the business.
