Muthoot FinCorp Limited is hiring a Litigation Specialist with 8–12 years of post-qualification experience to manage litigation matters across multiple forums.
Role and Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage litigation matters across civil, criminal, consumer, labour, and arbitration cases.
- Prepare, review, and vet pleadings, affidavits, and related legal documents.
- Represent the company before courts, tribunals, and quasi-judicial authorities, as required.
- Coordinate with external counsels, law firms, and local advocates on case strategy and hearings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to collect case facts, evidence, and documentation.
- Maintain litigation trackers, MIS reports, and dashboards for management reporting.
- Analyse litigation trends and recommend preventive legal measures.
- Ensure compliance with court directions, statutory timelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide legal advice to business teams on potential litigation risks.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for ongoing and potential litigations.
- Contribute to drafting SOPs, policies, and risk mitigation frameworks.
Eligibility
- 8–12 years of post-qualification experience in litigation management.
- Experience within NBFCs, banks, or financial services is preferred.
- Strong exposure to civil, criminal, consumer, labour, and arbitration matters.
- Proven experience handling litigation across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong coordination experience with external counsels.
