Details of the Job/Internship
Muthoot FinCorp Limited is hiring a Litigation Specialist with experience of 8–12 years to join their team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage litigation cases across civil, criminal, consumer, labour, and arbitration matters.
- Prepare, review, and vet legal pleadings, affidavits, and other documents.
- Represent the company before courts, tribunals, and quasi-judicial authorities when required.
- Liaise with external counsels, law firms, and local advocates for case updates and strategies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather case facts, evidence, and documentation.
- Maintain litigation trackers, MIS reports, and dashboards for management review.
- Analyse litigation trends and recommend preventive legal measures.
- Ensure compliance with court directions, statutory deadlines, and regulatory obligations.
- Provide legal advice to business functions on potential litigation risks.
- Maintain proper documentation and contribute to drafting SOPs and policies for risk mitigation.
Eligibility
- 8–12 years of post-qualification experience in litigation management, preferably in NBFCs, banks, or financial services.
- Strong exposure to civil, criminal, consumer, labour, and arbitration matters.
- Proven experience in handling litigation across multiple jurisdictions and coordinating with external counsels.
