Details of the Job/Internship

Re Sustainability Limited is hiring a Litigation Counsel to independently manage and oversee the organisation’s litigation portfolio.

Role and Responsibilities

• Independently manage the complete litigation lifecycle, including pre-litigation strategy, filings, appeals, execution proceedings, and ADR processes.
• Appear and argue matters before courts and tribunals, including NCLT, DRT, Consumer Forums, and Labour Courts.
• Conduct detailed legal research and prepare legal opinions, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
• Manage and coordinate with external counsel, review deliverables, monitor case progress, and control litigation costs.
• Handle civil, commercial, employment, property, contractual, IP, regulatory, and shareholder-related disputes.
• Advise business teams on litigation risks during contract negotiations and policy formulation.
• Maintain litigation trackers, MIS reports, and escalation mechanisms.
• Support settlement discussions, out-of-court resolutions, and enforcement of decrees or awards.
• Stay updated on changes in Indian laws and contribute to internal legal awareness initiatives.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognised university with mandatory enrolment with a State Bar Council.
• Active courtroom practice with exposure to High Courts, District Courts, or Tribunals.
• Prior in-house litigation experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to independently handle civil, commercial, and employment litigation.
• Experience in Pharma, Infrastructure, Real Estate, or Manufacturing sectors is desirable.

Salary/Stipend
