Details of the Job/Internship

Searce Inc is hiring a Litigation Specialist with experience of 5+ years to join their office in Pune District. The role involves acting as the proactive litigation backbone of the organisation, leading dispute resolution strategies, mitigating legal risks, and integrating litigation intelligence into business strategy to protect the company’s innovation and growth.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement high-stakes dispute strategies and proactively identify legal risks relating to data privacy, intellectual property, and complex technology contracts.
• Provide strategic legal advice on international statutes and contractual disputes and translate legal risks into business-focused solutions.
• Draft and negotiate complex settlement agreements, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and internal teams to build litigation-ready practices and protect organisational assets.
• Implement and leverage legal technology, including AI-driven discovery tools and predictive analytics, to improve litigation efficiency.
• Act as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for dispute outcomes and manage litigation from pre-suit investigation to resolution.
• Oversee case strategy, discovery processes, depositions, and advocacy in hearings, mediations, and arbitration proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and analyse precedents using legal research platforms.

Eligibility

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in legal litigation, risk mitigation, and dispute management.
• Experience working within or advising technology companies in areas such as cloud, AI, or data.
• Strong knowledge of dispute resolution processes including mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
• Experience in strategic risk mitigation and legal process optimisation through technology adoption.
