Details of the Job/Internship
Economic Laws Practice (ELP) is hiring an Associate with 4–5 years of experience to join their Litigation, Arbitration & Dispute Resolution team in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle domestic and international arbitration proceedings.
- Draft pleadings, claims, defenses, evidence, and submissions.
- Conduct legal research on arbitration and related matters.
- Coordinate with clients, experts, and co-counsel.
- Assist with court proceedings under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act (e.g., Sections 9, 11, 34, 37).
- Maintain and manage case files and documentation.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from recognised University.
- 4–5 years of experience in litigation and arbitration.
- Candidates with a strong litigation background interested in arbitration are encouraged to apply.
