Details of the Job/Internship

Aon is hiring an M&A Lawyer – Transaction Liability in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 5 years of professional experience working with Tier 1 law firms.

Role and Responsibilities

• Advise clients on transactional risk and insurance solutions for M&A deals.
• Develop and implement solutions for transactional issues in coordination with global underwriters.
• Communicate and demonstrate Aon’s value proposition, even in challenging deal environments.
• Manage and coordinate multiple work streams and external advisors.
• Ensure delivery of best practices, market-leading service, and innovative solutions to clients.

Eligibility

• Strong negotiation and influencing abilities, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Law; a professional qualification as a Company Secretary or Chartered Accountant is an added advantage.
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience with tier-1 law firms.
• Knowledge of the due diligence process, warranties, and indemnities.
• Familiarity with transaction documents, including sale and purchase agreements, is beneficial.
