Details of the Job/Internship

India Law LLP is hiring a dynamic and experienced M&A and Corporate Partner/Associate Partner to lead their M&A practice. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing and executing complex M&A and Corporate transactions, providing strategic counsel to clients, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the M&A and Corporate practice, overseeing a team of professionals and driving business development initiatives.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the firm's M&A capabilities and market presence.
• Provide expert guidance and advice to clients throughout the entire M&A process, including due diligence, valuation, negotiations, and deal structuring.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with other practice areas within the firm to offer comprehensive advisory services.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics to provide informed counsel.

Eligibility

• LLB/LLM, MBA/CA/CS or other relevant advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (7+ years) as a senior-level M&A attorney or advisor in a reputable law firm or corporate.
• Demonstrated success in leading and closing high-value M&A transactions across various industries.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
