Details of the Job/Internship
India Law LLP is hiring a dynamic and experienced M&A and Corporate Partner/Associate Partner to lead their M&A practice. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing and executing complex M&A and Corporate transactions, providing strategic counsel to clients, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the M&A and Corporate practice, overseeing a team of professionals and driving business development initiatives.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the firm's M&A capabilities and market presence.
- Provide expert guidance and advice to clients throughout the entire M&A process, including due diligence, valuation, negotiations, and deal structuring.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with other practice areas within the firm to offer comprehensive advisory services.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics to provide informed counsel.
Eligibility
- LLB/LLM, MBA/CA/CS or other relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (7+ years) as a senior-level M&A attorney or advisor in a reputable law firm or corporate.
- Demonstrated success in leading and closing high-value M&A transactions across various industries.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
