Details of the Job/Internship
Collins Aerospace is hiring a Manager - Contracts with experience of 8–12 years to join their office in Remote, India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead the review, negotiation, and administration of complex and high-risk contracts.
- Provide expert advice to stakeholders on legal and business risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage a portfolio of contracts independently to ensure accurate and compliant execution.
- Apply contract templates and playbooks consistently across all agreements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and Legal Counsel to resolve sophisticated contractual issues.
- Monitor operational metrics such as turnaround time and backlog to identify trends.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization for contract workflows.
- Offer technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in legal support, in-house contracting, or contracts management.
- Significant expertise in negotiating complex agreements and performing risk assessments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work IST hours with flexibility for periodic US East Coast meetings.
- Preferred: Experience in global matrixed organizations or shared services models.
- Preferred: Certification in process improvement frameworks like Lean Six Sigma or CORE.
