Details of the Job/Internship

D. E. Shaw India Private Limited is hiring a Manager – Legal to join their Legal and Compliance team in Hyderabad. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Independently draft, review, and negotiate commercial and other contracts.
• Lead discussions with counterparties and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as human capital, finance, and operations.
• Develop and streamline contract review processes.
• Draft contract templates and support legal research initiatives.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in law.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial contract laws.
• Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Master’s degree preferred.
