Details of the Job/Internship
Roche Diagnostics India is hiring a Manager – Legal and Compliance with 8+ years of experience to join their Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and implement strategies for assigned business functions.
- Identify legal risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and agreements.
- Review tender documents and submissions to government authorities.
- Manage and coordinate with external counsels and determine litigation strategy.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, data privacy, ethics, and internal policies.
- Drive compliance mindset and ethics culture across the organization.
- Conduct compliance gap assessments and develop roadmaps.
- Monitor and implement changes in applicable regulations.
Eligibility
- Registered lawyer with Bar Council license.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Legal and Compliance functions, preferably in Life Sciences.
- In-depth knowledge of contract law, litigation, compliance processes, and audits.
- Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills.
- Ability to collaborate with senior leadership and manage ambiguity.
