Details of the Job/Internship
Asian Paints is hiring a Manager - Legal with 8+ years of experience in contract management to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize agreements and warranty documents while minimizing company risk.
- Handle tender documentation and prepare risk notes for management review.
- Participate in key business contract negotiations and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a contract repository, track renewals, and manage contract execution and storage.
- Work closely with the compliance team for 100% adherence in new business setups.
- Research international laws and relevant judgments to support business transactions.
- Provide training to internal teams on business agreement procedures.
- Advise business verticals on agreements, IPR, and recovery of debts.
- Coordinate with external consultants and foreign law firms for compliance.
Eligibility
- LLB/LLM (full-time) from a recognized university.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in contract management.
