Details of the Job/Internship
CEAT Limited is hiring a Manager – Legal with practice and corporate experience to join their office in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Role and Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the company’s global IPR portfolio.
- Conduct IPR searches (Indian and global) for clearance and due diligence.
- Handle IPR-related litigation, including drafting suits, petitions, writs, and appeals.
- Coordinate with investigators and oversee raid actions.
- Review labels and creatives to ensure compliance with ASCI Code and Legal Metrology Act.
- Respond to queries and notifications issued by authorities.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders and business teams.
- Follow up on recovery of outstanding dues.
- Ensure legal compliance across business operations.
- Draft and vet contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments and communicate implications to stakeholders.
Eligibility
- Law graduate with both practice and corporate experience.
- Strong knowledge of IPR laws and related litigation.
- Proficiency in English, Marathi, and Hindi (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Experience in contract management and compliance.
