Details of the Job/Internship

ixigo is hiring a Manager / Asst. Manager - Legal with experience of 5–7 years to join their office in Gurugram. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including API integration, marketing, vendor, and service agreements.
• Support the onboarding of operators, suppliers, and service providers from a legal and documentation perspective.
• Maintain and update platform documents such as User Agreements, Privacy Policies, and Refund/Cancellation policies.
• Provide legal support to internal departments including Product, Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources.
• Draft replies to legal notices and manage consumer or vendor disputes.
• Coordinate with external counsel for litigation and manage internal contract and dispute trackers.
• Review marketing campaigns and promotional activities to ensure compliance with legal standards.
• Handle consumer litigation and interface with investigating authorities as required.
• Monitor changes in legislation and perform impact analysis on business operations.
• Safeguard sensitive company data in accordance with the organization's Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Eligibility

• Law graduate (LLB) from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a legal function at a law firm or as in-house counsel.
• Strong knowledge of the Consumer Protection Act, e-commerce guidelines, and dark pattern guidelines.
• Familiarity with Cyber Laws, DPDP Act, and GDPR.
