SUN PHARMA is hiring a Manager – Legal with experience of 8 to 10 years to join their office in Vadodara.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of litigation matters, including civil, commercial, labour, real estate, and regulatory disputes.
• Supervise external counsel, review formal pleadings, and drive effective litigation strategies for timely resolution.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of commercial and pharmaceutical-specific agreements.
• Ensure all organizational contracts align with legal, regulatory, and internal policy frameworks.
• Provide day-to-day legal advisory support to cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth business operations.
• Maintain strict compliance with pharma-specific regulations, including the Drugs & Cosmetics Act.
• Identify potential legal risks in new projects and propose practical strategies for mitigation.
• Develop and implement internal legal policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and training programs.
• Maintain meticulous litigation trackers and contract repositories for management reporting.
• Serve as a legal business partner for assigned functions, including providing specialized support on real estate matters.

Eligibility

• LL.B / LL.M from a recognized university.
• 8 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong expertise in managing diverse litigation portfolios and external counsel.
• Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating commercial and pharma-related contracts.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian pharmaceutical laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work independently on complex legal issues.
• Willingness to travel as per business requirements.
