Details of the Job/Internship
Tata Play Ltd. is hiring a Manager – Regulatory Affairs with over 6 years of experience in regulatory compliance and government affairs to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure regulatory compliance and manage government affairs.
- Act as a liaison between Tata Play and regulatory bodies such as TRAI, MIB, DoT, WPC, NOCC, and others.
- Draft responses to correspondences and queries from regulatory authorities.
- Ensure timely responses to MIB/TRAI customer complaints and oversee quality levels of LPO handling these complaints.
- Research and draft inputs for sectoral consultation papers issued by TRAI.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare responses and manage consumer grievance workflows.
- Analyze regulatory data submitted to authorities and manage statutory timelines.
- Identify systemic inefficiencies, suggest process improvements, and explore outsourcing opportunities.
Eligibility
- B.A. LLB with 6+ years of experience.
- Strong legal expertise in Media & Entertainment laws and IT laws.
- Experience in broadcasting sector or law firms handling broadcasting issues preferred.
- Skilled in government liaising, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder management.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel with strong drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage heavy workloads independently under strict deadlines
