Details of the Job/Internship
ReNew is seeking a Manager – Land Legal with hands-on litigation and land law expertise.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and vet pleadings, represent the company in court, and manage litigation strategy.
- Draft, review, and negotiate land-related agreements (lease deeds, sale deeds, MoUs, conveyance deeds, etc.).
- Provide legal support on land acquisition, conversion of agricultural land, mutation, registration, stamp duty, and related matters.
- Liaise with government authorities for approvals and compliance.
- Guide internal land and project teams on legal issues relating to renewable energy project development.
- Liaise with external counsel, prepare case briefs, and manage legal notices.
- Maintain Legal MIS and ensure timely documentation.
- Travel as required for legal proceedings and land-related matters.
Eligibility
- Law graduate (LLB).
- Practical experience in land litigation, drafting, and property law.
- Strong knowledge of land revenue laws, stamp duty, registration laws, and procedural laws.
- Open to frequent travel for legal and project requirements.
