Details of the Job/Internship
MSD is hiring a Manager – Legal and Compliance with 3+ years of experience to join their Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal and compliance support under the supervision of the Director, Legal & Compliance.
- Draft/review non-complex contracts and provide legal opinions.
- Review promotional material for legal compliance.
- Coordinate corporate secretarial matters with third-party firms.
- Liaise with external counsel and ensure timely deliverables.
- Assist with compliance presentations and trainings.
- Monitor legal and regulatory changes.
- Support litigation, IP management, investigations, and risk analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global legal departments.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law.
- Qualified Company Secretary.
- Minimum 3 years of post-admission legal experience.
- Strong legal advisory, research, and drafting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior in-house legal and compliance experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company preferred.
- Familiarity with UCPMP and local pharma laws is a plus.
