Details of the Job/Internship
Fidelity International is hiring a Manager / Legal Counsel with 7–9 years of experience to join its Commercial Legal team in Gurgaon.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts including Cloud Outsourcing Agreements, SaaS, IaaS, Software Licences, Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, Consulting Agreements, Facilities Agreements, and Data Processing Agreements.
- Advise on onboarding RFPs, AI/GenAI solutions, and related IP, data, and regulatory considerations.
- Apply international technology and cloud outsourcing regulations (DORA, ESMA, EBA, EIOPA, MAS) in commercial contracts.
- Support staff augmentation, consulting, and temporary staffing agreements across jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to resolve legal and commercial issues.
- Provide advice on procurement contracts and supplier service engagements.
- Manage disputes and arbitration matters, liaising with external counsel where required.
- Guide and coach junior team members.
- Contribute to legal process improvements, knowledge sharing, and adoption of legal technology.
Eligibility
- LLB with 7–9 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in-house with a multinational organisation.
- Expertise in technology and non-technology commercial contracts including SaaS, IaaS, outsourcing, licensing, consulting, and staff augmentation.
- Knowledge of global cloud outsourcing regulations (ESMA, EBA, DORA, PRA, MAS).
- Familiarity with AI, GenAI, data processing, and related legal issues.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, communication, and commercial awareness.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under time-sensitive conditions.
- High ethical standards, adaptability, and team collaboration skills.
- Experience with legal tech tools and contract management systems desirable.
