Details of the Job/Internship

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals is hiring a Manager – Trademarks with 5–6 years of experience to join their Mumbai office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage trademark searches in-house and coordinate brand clearances across regions.
• Handle trademark prosecution with external stakeholders globally.
• Draft and file oppositions (TM-5) online in-house.
• Issue cease and desist notices.
• Manage renewals, LPC filings, and evidence submission.
• Maintain and update trademark databases for real-time status tracking.
• Support business and regulatory teams with trademark filings.
• Conduct trademark due diligence across regions.
• Strategise global filing, registration, and brand protection.
• Research trademark case laws and review artworks from a trademark perspective.
• Prepare MIS reports, presentations, and support project-specific assignments.

Eligibility

• 5–6 years of industry experience.
• Experience in online TM filings and Madrid filings.
• Understanding of the Trademark Act 1999 and Copyright Act 1957; knowledge of Legal Metrology Act 2009 and Drugs & Cosmetics Act 1940 is preferred.
• Ability to review and draft basic agreements (CDAs, service agreements, manufacturing/supply agreements, distribution agreements).
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to work collaboratively on annual projects.
