Details of the Job/Internship
Sammaan Capital Limited is hiring for the position of Manager Compliance (From NBFCs Only) to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable RBI regulations, including but not limited to capital adequacy norms, asset classification, provisioning, liquidity management, and the Fair Practices Code.
- Monitor regulatory updates and proactively communicate relevant changes across internal teams.
- Support the implementation and regular review of internal compliance policies and procedures.
- Identify compliance risks, monitor mitigation strategies, and report key issues to senior management.
2. PMLA / KYC Compliance
- Oversee adherence to PMLA and KYC/AML requirements, including customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, and reporting of suspicious activities.
- Conduct gap analysis, recommend corrective actions, and ensure effective implementation and follow-up.
- Assist in compiling and submitting regulatory reports to the RBI and internal stakeholders.
3. Automation, Training & Awareness
- Contribute to the automation of compliance monitoring systems using compliance tools and digital platforms.
- Assist in the design and rollout of compliance training programs to improve awareness across the organization.
4. Regulatory Liaison
- Support communication and coordination with regulatory authorities such as the RBI.
- Draft timely and accurate responses to regulatory queries, notices, and requests.
- Coordinate and facilitate inspections, audits, and examinations by regulators.
- Maintain a centralized repository of all regulatory correspondences and documentation.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputed institution.
- Qualified Company Secretary (CS) or Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the NBFC or financial services sector.
- In-depth knowledge of RBI guidelines, PMLA, KYC norms, and applicable compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a results-driven approach.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with compliance tools is an advantage.
