Details of the Job/Internship
Sunbreeze Renewables is hiring for the position of Manager-Contracts and Commercials with 5-10 years of experience to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including:
- Land Lease Agreements
- Sale Deeds
- Development Agreements
- MoUs and NDAs
- EPC and service provider contracts (as applicable)
- Develop and assess commercial models for land aggregation, sub-leasing, and client transfers.
- Ensure all contract terms align with applicable laws, business goals, and client expectations.
- Coordinate with internal teams (legal, business development, operations) and external stakeholders (landowners, government bodies, clients).
- Maintain and monitor contract lifecycle management systems, tracking key obligations and deadlines.
- Provide strategic advice on contract risks, exposure, and mitigation strategies.
- Support due diligence, title verification, and compliance checks for land acquisitions.
- Stay informed on land acquisition laws, state-specific regulations, and renewable energy policies.
Eligibility
- LLB (Mandatory); LLM or MBA is a plus.
- 5–10 years of experience in contracts and commercial management, with at least 3 years in land acquisition or renewable energy.
- In-depth knowledge of contract law, property law, and commercial negotiation.
- Proven experience with land transactions across multiple Indian states is preferred.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-oriented environment.
