Details of the Job/Internship

AB InBev India is hiring for the position of Manager - Corporate Affairs with 8+ years of experience to join their office in Uttar Pradesh.

Role and Responsibilities

• Government Affairs & Regulatory Compliance
• Secure all operational licenses and permits necessary for uninterrupted functioning in U.P., particularly those related to brewery and excise operations.
• Serve as the single point of contact for all external stakeholders including government officials, community leaders, and regulatory bodies.
• Liaise with relevant state departments to ensure statutory compliance across functions and obtain timely approvals.
• Draft official correspondence, applications, and reports for submission to U.P. State Government departments.
• Community Engagement & CSR
• Develop and execute a calendarized community engagement and CSR strategy in coordination with internal teams.
• Maintain a proactive stakeholder engagement plan, including regular interactions with panchayat bodies and local authorities.
• Foster a positive public image of the brewery in the surrounding communities by facilitating impactful and sustainable social initiatives.
• Strategic Administration & Plant Collaboration
• Partner with the plant leadership to ensure cohesive administrative operations and build the brewery as a model workplace.
• Align with internal departments—Legal, CSR, Corporate Communications, Supply Chain, Sales, and Procurement—to implement strategic programs and mitigate risks.
• Monitor government policies and fiscal developments, provide insights, and work with state authorities to promote ease of doing business.

Eligibility

• Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline; preference for candidates with a Law degree.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in government liaison, corporate affairs, or regulatory roles.
• Prior experience working with state/central government officials and panchayat bodies.
• Exposure to Alcobev/FMCG industries preferred.

Salary/Stipend
