Details of the Job/Internship

Tata Communications is hiring a Manager – Corporate Legal to join its team in Mumbai. This is an operational role responsible for ensuring that all legal aspects of commercial matters in the region are handled in a swift, efficient and cost-effective manner. The role involves close coordination with internal business units and support across commercial and transactional legal matters.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist the legal operations team in relation to the Company’s Contract Management System and ensure strong coordination with various business units.
• Proactively address and implement new processes to expedite legal support, legal documentation and risk management.
• Support merger and demerger activities.
• Review, vet and finalize network-related agreements.
• Negotiate, review, vet, finalize, execute and register lease-in and lease-out agreements.
• Support monetization initiatives including bid processes and auction processes.
• Handle negotiation, review, vetting, finalization, execution and registration of agreements, deeds and related documentation in adherence to statutory regulations.
• Apply understanding of commercial pricing, financial and business acumen, and knowledge of data, voice and managed services.
• Demonstrate analytical skills, strategic acumen, strong presentation and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Excel including creation of iterative models.
