Tata Communications is hiring a Manager – Corporate Legal to join their office in Delhi. The role involves supporting legal and regulatory affairs, managing regulatory issues within assigned regions, and tracking matters related to licensing, numbering, and ongoing compliance. The position requires interaction and negotiation with regulators and government officials across assigned countries, along with coordination with global business teams.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support legal and regulatory affairs across assigned regions.
• Manage regulatory issues related to licensing, numbering, and ongoing compliance.
• Submit information and respond to queries from regulatory bodies.
• Plan, undertake, and oversee regulatory inspections.
• Prepare regulatory reports.
• Liaise with global business teams to obtain financial, network, and service information.
• Analyse report data, seek clarifications, and draft explanations for variances.
• Project manage regulatory reporting activities and regulatory fee payments.
• Maintain databases for regulatory reports, licences, and fee payments.
• Manage regulatory exemption certificate work.
• Maintain the trademark and patent portfolio.
• Conduct intellectual property awareness sessions.
• Develop and maintain communication with regulatory agencies on compliance requirements, regulatory pathways, and pending submissions.

Eligibility

Minimum qualification and relevant years of experience in regulatory affairs.
