Tata Communications is hiring a Manager – Corporate Legal to join their office in Mumbai. The role involves handling all legal aspects of commercial matters efficiently and cost-effectively, ensuring compliance, contract management, and legal coordination across business units.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist the legal operations team with the company’s Contract Management System and coordinate with various business units.
- Proactively address new processes to expedite legal support, documentation, and risk management.
- Support merger and demerger activities.
- Review, vet, and finalize network-related agreements.
- Negotiate, review, and finalize lease-in and lease-out agreements and oversee execution and registration.
- Manage monetization, bid processes, and auction procedures, ensuring proper documentation and statutory compliance.
- Prepare, execute, and register agreements, deeds, and related legal documents as required for transactions.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
- Strong understanding of commercial, corporate, and contract laws.
- Experience in reviewing, vetting, and finalizing legal agreements and documentation.
- Excellent analytical, strategic, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with financial and business acumen.
