Details of the Job/Internship

M&G Global Services Private Limited is hiring a Manager Data Privacy Lawyer to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support the improvement of the overall control environment, customer outcomes, and a reduction in M&G plc's operational risk. 
• To review and draft Data Privacy clauses in Internal & Vendor Agreements.
• To support the assessment and implementation of the India Data Protection Bill.
• To respond to queries and provide appropriate advice to M&G on all aspects of data privacy. 
• To support policy attestations and Management Reporting relating to Data Privacy.
• To cooperate and assist DPOs in the fulfillment of their responsibilities, including escalating and seeking the  advice of the DPO as required,
• To champion and help embed the Privacy Policy and accompanying standards,
• To foster a Privacy culture within M&G plc. ‐ keeping Privacy in the front‐of‐mind,

Salary/Stipend
