Details of the Job/Internship

Marico is hiring a Direct Taxation Associate with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience to join their taxation team. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Review tax provision workings of all group companies on a quarterly basis.
• Ensure transfer pricing compliance and prepare tax and transfer pricing reports for audits.
• Liaise with auditors for tax and transfer pricing audits.
• File income tax returns for all group companies.
• Prepare submissions for corporate and transfer pricing assessments.
• Coordinate with finance operational and regional teams for support related to tax litigation.
• Represent the company during assessments.
• Perform workings related to cross charge from a transfer pricing perspective.
• Review TDS and WHT compliance.
• Coordinate with cross-business and cross-functional teams to ensure proactive responses to business opportunities and risks.

Eligibility

• Chartered Accountant qualification.
• 2–3 years of post-qualification experience in direct taxation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and prioritisation skills.
• Good networking, influencing, and execution skills.

Salary/Stipend
