Details of the Job/Internship
MSKA & Associates is hiring a Manager – Ethics & Independence with experience of 8–12 years to join their team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Interpret, implement, and enhance Ethics & Independence frameworks.
- Drive firm-wide initiatives for conflict checks and monitoring controls.
- Advise teams and leadership on complex independence and conflict matters.
- Supervise conflict checks and independence clearance processes.
- Manage high-risk ethical scenarios and multi-jurisdictional conflicts.
- Monitor quality and compliance of conflict reports and independence memos.
- Conduct internal audits and reviews for adherence to ethics frameworks.
- Oversee conflict management tools and drive automation initiatives.
- Engage with senior stakeholders and present risk and compliance updates.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members.
- Design and conduct training sessions on ethics and compliance.
Eligibility
- Chartered Accountant or Postgraduate degree (MBA in Finance, Risk, Law, or related field).
- 8–12 years of experience in Ethics & Independence, Risk, Compliance, or Regulatory Advisory.
- Certifications in Risk, Compliance, or Ethics (preferred).
- Experience in Big 4 firms (preferred).
- Strong understanding of auditor independence requirements (ICAI, IESBA, etc.).
- Expertise in conflict management systems and independence tools.
- Strong analytical, Excel, and data management skills.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive initiatives.
