Flipkart is hiring a Manager - Labour and Employment Law with 6-9 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. The role involves overseeing and managing all aspects of labour and employment law, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing policies and procedures that meet or exceed legal standards.
Role and Responsibilities
- Act as the lead legal advisor on labour and employment matters for cross-functional teams.
- Draft, review, and negotiate labour and employment contracts ensuring legal compliance.
- Manage and resolve employment disputes, investigations, and related legal matters.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks across business operations and contracts.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize liability.
- Implement and oversee a centralized contract management system.
- Conduct complex legal research to support strategic decisions.
- Lead initiatives for legal automation and process optimization.
- Draft and review policies related to labour and employment.
- Deliver targeted legal training to internal departments.
Eligibility
- LLB with 6-9 years of experience in labour and employment law.
- Deep knowledge of labour and employment laws.
- Strong strategic acumen and proactive risk management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex legal frameworks.
