Nexus Corporate Solution Pvt. Ltd. is hiring for the position of Deputy General Manager – Land & Legal with 8–10 years of experience to join their operations based in Ahmedabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead land acquisition for utility-scale solar and wind projects across Gujarat and Rajasthan.
- Identify, negotiate, document, and hand over large land parcels for renewable energy projects.
- Ensure complete legal, technical, and statutory due diligence before land handover.
- Manage regulatory approvals from relevant authorities including GEDA, GETCO, MOD, and AAI.
- Maintain a continuous land bank pipeline to support project development.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor land acquisition costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
- Maintain zero dispute and defect-free land titles post-acquisition.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or Engineering, with Civil or Electrical preferred.
- Fluency in Gujarati, both written and spoken.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector.
- Exclusive experience in solar, wind, hybrid, or battery energy storage projects.
- Experience with IPPs, renewable energy developers, or EPC companies.
- Proven achievement of acquiring large-scale land parcels for solar and wind projects.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, professional email drafting, AutoCAD, and Google Earth Pro.
- Working knowledge of GIS mapping tools preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Gujarat and Rajasthan.
