Livspace is hiring a Manager- Legal and Compliance to join them in Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
Contract Management
- Independently drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts applicable for various lines of business of the Company, including but not limited to contracts with suppliers (goods, services, procurement, IT services, licensing)
- NDAs, licensing agreements, MSAs, SaaS contracts, Contracts with other group companies, customer and vendor terms of service.
- Standardized Contract Playbook Development: Develop and maintain a standardized contract playbook, including templates, guidelines, and best practices, to streamline the contract drafting and negotiation process.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure consistent application of standardized terms and conditions.
Compliance
- Advising business team on new business activity, FDI compliances and advisory on business structuring.
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends, ensuring the organization stayscompliant with evolving legal requirements.
- Lead the implementation of DPDPA and dealing with personal data processing matters of the India office and data protection issues;
- Identification and resolution of intricate local legal requirements that require in-depth analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
- Working experience of compliance tracking and reporting framework.
- Pre IPO, regulatory compliance and due diligence work.
- Possible interaction with regulators / enforcing authorities.
- Providing advisory support on legal and compliance issues pertaining to employment and labour laws. Assisting in resolving all HR queries
Eligibility
- Experience of review and drafting of contracts.
- Critical thinking, good negotiation skills, excellent verbal and written communication, familiar with various templates, ability to research.
- Initiative, flexibility, ability to adapt to different types of business functions and cultures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently and in groups; and
- Exceptional integrity and work ethic.
Salary/Stipend
