Housing.com is hiring for the position of Manager Legal & Compliance with 8-12 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
Legal Research and Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on diverse legal matters.
- Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations impacting the business.
- Monitor and interpret relevant legal developments to ensure compliance.
- Handle litigation, draft legal notices, and coordinate with external counsel.
Drafting and Review:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Prepare legal opinions, reports, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with procurement to provide legal guidance on supplier agreements and vendor relationships.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in implementing internal policies and procedures.
- Support internal, SoX, and statutory audits.
- Identify potential compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare compliance reports for senior management and the board.
Business Understanding:
- Provide legal guidance to stakeholders, ensuring compliance in business operations.
- Assist in policy development and implementation.
- Develop training programs to promote legal and compliance awareness
Eligibility
Qualifications: LLB from a recognized institution with 8-12 years of experience.
