Details of the Job/Internship

SuperOps is hiring a Legal & Compliance Manager with 5–7 years of experience to join the organisation.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle legal notices, responses, and communications for India, US, and New Zealand entities.
• Manage statutory and regulatory compliance under the Companies Act, 2013, FEMA, labour laws, GST, and the IT Act in India.
• Coordinate with US registered agents and advisors for Delaware franchise filings, annual reports, and state-level compliance.
• Maintain a master compliance calendar across all entities.
• Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS agreements, MSAs, NDAs, channel partner agreements, vendor contracts, and consulting agreements.
• Support sales and finance teams with contract reviews, renewals, and compliance with ASC 606, GDPR, and data protection requirements.
• Maintain a contract repository and track contract renewals.
• Develop internal contract templates and playbooks.
• Coordinate with external counsel across jurisdictions for litigation, IP, employment, and data privacy matters.
• Provide legal advisory support on business decisions, pricing models, and market entry strategies.
• Draft, review, and update internal policies including codes of conduct, anti-bribery, data protection, vendor onboarding, and employment policies.
• Maintain documentation trails, version control, and scalable risk management frameworks.

Eligibility

• LLB or BL from a reputed university.
• LLM or Company Secretary background is preferred.
• 5–7 years of post-qualification experience in SaaS, technology, or IT sectors.
• Experience in India and US entity compliance, contract negotiation, and regulatory liaison.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with SaaS subscription models, data processing agreements, and reseller contracts.
