Details of the Job/Internship

GH2 Solar is hiring a Manager – Legal & Compliances with experience of 8–10 years to support its legal, regulatory, and compliance functions. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to senior management and business teams on corporate, commercial, employment, regulatory, and operational matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, agreements, policies, and other legal documentation.
• Handle litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution, including coordination with external counsels.
• Ensure compliance with corporate laws, labour laws, data protection regulations, and industry-specific regulations.
• Advise on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions, where applicable.
• Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programmes, policies, and internal controls.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and internal audits and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee regulatory filings, licences, approvals, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison with regulators, auditors, and external legal advisors.
• Support corporate governance frameworks, board processes, and committee requirements.
• Identify legal and compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct employee training and awareness programmes on legal and compliance matters.
• Lead and mentor junior legal and compliance team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, Operations, and IT.
• Manage relationships with external law firms and consultants.

• Experience: 8–10 years.
• Preferred Industry: Solar / Renewable Energy / Oil & Gas.
