Details of the Job/Internship
Meesho is hiring a Manager – Legal (Disputes) with 5–7 years of experience in litigation to join its India office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute litigation strategies aligned with business goals.
- Handle civil, criminal, commercial, regulatory, arbitration, and consumer disputes across India.
- Conduct RCAs, lead internal investigations, and draft legal documents.
- Engage and manage external counsel and law firms.
- Advise leadership on litigation risks and strategies.
- Manage regulatory inquiries, notices, and proceedings.
- Draft pleadings, responses, affidavits, and settlement agreements.
- Identify and mitigate pre-litigation risks through training and process improvements.
- Maintain litigation MIS, trackers, and cost reports.
Eligibility
- LL.B or LL.M from a reputed institution.
- 5–7+ years of litigation experience (law firm + in-house preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Indian civil, criminal, commercial, and regulatory laws.
- Experience with courts, tribunals, arbitration forums, and regulators.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen and stakeholder management.
