Unison Group is hiring a Manager – Legal & Liaison with 5+ years of relevant experience to join their legal team in Dehradun.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting and vetting contracts, agreements, and legal documentation.
- Assessing potential partnerships and subcontracts for legal risks.
- Designing and managing legal policies and positions.
- Ensuring compliance of business activities with applicable laws and internal policies.
- Supporting licensing, permits, vendor compliance, and related approvals.
- Developing and managing the compliance function.
- Advocating with local authorities and maintaining legal networks.
- Managing regulatory and legal body interactions.
- Handling civil, corporate, labor, and departmental legal proceedings.
- Conducting internal inquiries and strategizing litigation before courts and tribunals.
- Managing dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, and due diligence processes.
- Supervising external counsel and reviewing progress of ongoing litigation.
- Supporting tender processes and e-tendering activities.
Eligibility
- Qualification: LL.B. / LL.M.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a relevant legal/compliance role.
