Details of the Job/Internship
Medanta – The Medicity is hiring a Manager – Legal (Litigation) to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and vet appeals, agreements, legal notices, suits, written statements, applications, and replies.
- Conduct legal due diligence, consultancy, and handle criminal and civil matters.
- Provide timely, high-quality legal advice to senior management on litigation and business issues.
- Select, coordinate, and supervise external counsel.
- Manage litigation, assess legal risks, and support routine legal matters.
- Liaise with external consultants and law firms for ongoing cases and legal requirements.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (5-year) from a Tier-1 college.
- Strong proficiency in legal drafting, litigation management, and document preparation.
- Experience working in law firms or legal chambers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
